Role Overview
BL Lighting is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and technically curious Technical Inside Sales & Quotations Specialist to join our Vancouver team.
This role supports customers, sales representatives, and internal departments by preparing quotation packages, reviewing project information, communicating clearly, and helping move architectural lighting projects forward.

What You’ll Do
- Review customer requests, project information, drawings, specifications, and product requirements
- Prepare accurate quotation packages for architectural lighting projects
- Communicate with customers and sales representatives by phone and email
- Ask clear follow-up questions when project details are incomplete
- Support inside sales, quote follow-up, and order coordination
- Work with internal teams including sales, quotations, production, purchasing, shipping, and accounting
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, customer information, and follow-up activity
- Learn BL Lighting’s products, applications, and project workflows over time
What We’re Looking For
The right person is organized, accurate, curious, and comfortable communicating with customers.
Strong candidates may have experience in:
- Quotations, estimating, or quote preparation
- Inside sales support or technical sales support
- Customer service or client support
- Electrical, lighting, construction, building materials, architectural products, or technical products
- Interior design, architecture, project coordination, or related fields
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, measurements, or product details
- Working with CRM, ERP, order-management, inventory, or accounting systems
Required Qualities
- Strong spoken and written English for professional customer communication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, product details, and basic calculations
- Able to manage multiple requests and follow up consistently
- Professional, calm, patient, and service-minded
- Willing to learn technical lighting products and internal systems
- Able to work full-time in person at our Vancouver office
